View ArticleThe Ark Veterinary Surgery, phone 32639977, is situated at 589 Robinson Road, Aspley, just west of the Kirby Road roundabout. We are a domestic pet medicine and surgery practice operated by veterinarians Dr.David Marchant and Dr. Chelsea Shekell in Aspley, on Brisbane's northside. At The Ark we treat dogs, cats, birds, mice, rats,
guinea pigs and offer cat boarding facilities in the Aspley, Carseldine, Bridgeman Downs, Geebung, West
Chermside, Wavell Heights and surrounding areas. Our veterinary nurses are Angela Vyden, Kayleen Burns, and Chelsea Matthews.
We consult for all veterinary medical, surgical, dental and behavioural problems. We provide laboratory services at the surgery (CBC, blood chemistry, urinalysis and cytology), but send out some samples to a large veterinary pathology laboratory for analysis. If necessary, we refer our clients and patients to a specialist surgeon (Dr. Sue Gibbons) and medical, dermatology and oncology specialists. We use low-dose radiation digital radiography and ultrasound imaging techniques. Our aim is to provide top quality service to keep you and your pets healthy and happy. Call us for an appointment - we're for happy pets!
If you need help for an emergency during the night or at weekends, when we are not here, we will refer you to the Pet E R, phone 33595333, 263 Appleby Road, Stafford Heights.
We have a strong attachment to our local community and sponsor the Pine Agility Dog Sports Club, the Aspley East Primary School, the Leukaemia Foundation, and St. Dympna's School.
